1975: Humble Beginnings
Established as TriContinent Scientific, the company focused on producing high-quality manually operated precision reagent dispensers for the medical and life sciences industries. They introdudced their first line of precision glass dispensers which would later become essential in blood-banking instruments during the HIV epidemic.
1978: Positive Displacement Pumps
The company introduced its range of positive displacement pumps, enhancing its product offerings for precision liquid handling.
1983: Air Displacement Pipettes
TriContinent expanded into manually operated air displacement pipettes, providing high-precision and cost-effective solutions for laboratory and kit diagnostics.
1986: Microplate Processors
The company introduced highly reliable microplate processors, combining motor-driven syringe pumps and robotics, marking another innovation that catered to the needs of laboratory automation.
1989: OEM Syringe Pumps
